Fru che Kevin popularly known as “Kevin Kay” was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fru che Richard and is the first of a family of four boys.
Not your ordinary musician, the young artist has a “uniquely dynamic” approach towards gospel music and is working towards Transforming and Impacting lives by Grace through his art.
From 2014, Kevin Kay ‘s music career has experienced an uphill movement following his release of 14 singles (I worship God, Spirit of the Lord, Love Song, Made of God, Hail my King,etc) and is currently producing an album.
Having received a “Best Song Writer/Worshiper” award in the year 2016 from one of the most prominent Ministries in West Africa (Life Transformers Ministries), his career took another turn.Following his most recently released music video titled “It Is Done“, Minister Kay has successfully paved his way into Cameroon’s heart with the music being the best afro pop music, with a lasting effect of Spirit filled lyrics on every lip and a powerful body moving rythm.“It Is Done” has had it’s fair share of success as it is aired on prominent TV channels in Cameroon such as Canal 2, Stv, My gospel Tv, Crtv, Transformers Tv and just to name a few.
The rising star’s vision knows no bounds as he has been spotted in different countries with top music icons like Frank Edwards, Ada Ehi, Samsong, Victor Ike, Jerry K, Gil Joe, Nkay, Ipha Liman, TB1, Eben, Jahdel and just to name a few. What can we say, birds of a feather do flock together.
